Head of External Affairs

An extensive and active network with top-tier conservative thought leaders, influencers, political decision makers and organizations. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, demonstrating clarity, persuasion, and effectiveness across a diversity of channels. Strong political and cultural fluency, with a nuanced understanding of a diversity of conservative perspectives and communities. Ability to conceptualize, develop and run external affairs events (VIP dinners, conferences, etc). A demonstrated ability to engage constructively across differences. Strong strategic storytelling, and the ability to build influence and credibility with conservative communities. Minimum 5 years experience in external affairs, public relations or a leadership role in the conservative community. At least 5+ years of management and strategic leadership experience. Proven success managing or building conservative networks. Experience working on conservative influence campaigns. Experience running external affairs events (VIP dinners, conferences, etc). Experience with outreach and storytelling on social media is a plus. Experience leading a team is a plus.

Develop and execute an external communications strategy that builds trust and engagement with key conservative influencers. Develop strategic partnerships with conservative advocacy groups, policy organizations, NGOs, leaders, influencers and political decision makers. Prepare for brand opportunities and reputational risks in the conservative space. Advise our senior leadership team on strategic opportunities in the broader conservative landscape.
