Research Scientist

Master's and/or PhDs in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, etc.) required 3+ years of professional experience as a researcher in natural language processing, authorship verification, language models, intent recognition, emotion detection, and/or generative AI Experience with natural language processing required Experience using AI-driven code research and development using AI assistants (eg, Anthropic or Copilot) Strong Python skills Experience with ML frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications at prestigious conferences and journals Proven track record of successful and timely project delivery Strong collaboration & proven success in partnering with stakeholders

Conduct experimental studies on various natural language processing and machine learning tasks Help the transition of research models into production on different platforms Conduct proof-of-concept experiments on lab and customer data Publish patents and peer-reviewed papers in top machine learning conferences Help your teammates in reviewing their research projects Propose new ML models that improve Pindrop products Leverage cloud AI platforms, including AWS Bedrock and Google Cloud Vertex AI Champion Responsible AI, including safety guardrails, red-teaming, fairness/bias testing, and human-in-the-loop workflows
