Senior Software Architect (Java/Angular) - GovTech / HR Software (LATAM)

8+ years of progressive experience in software development. At least 3-5 years in a dedicated Software Architect or Principal Engineer role. Mastery of the Java/Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security). Deep knowledge of JVM performance tuning. Expert in cloud-native design patterns and hands-on experience architecting on AWS. Authority in data architecture (relational and NoSQL databases, event streaming). Deep understanding of front-end architecture (Angular) and its integration with backend systems. Demonstrated leadership in establishing technical governance and mentoring. Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Define and own the end-to-end technical architecture and roadmap for application modernization. Establish and govern enterprise-wide architectural principles, standards, and best practices. Lead technology selection and evaluation for the entire stack. Architect for key non-functional requirements on AWS. Champion innovation and introduce emerging technologies. Lead Architecture Review Boards and technical governance processes. Collaborate with leadership to translate business strategy into technology strategy. Partner with DevOps/SRE teams to design CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code platforms. Provide guidance and make critical decisions on complex technical challenges.
