Neurologist - Cognitive Care (Telehealth)

MD or DO from an accredited institution Completion of a residency in Neurology Fellowship training in Behavioral/Cognitive Neurology or equivalent experience strongly preferred Board certification in Neurology (ABPN) required Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state; multi-state or IMLC eligibility preferred 3+ years of clinical experience managing patients with memory or cognitive disorders Demonstrated proficiency in telemedicine platforms and digital tools Strong clinical expertise in cognitive assessment, dementia management, and interdisciplinary collaboration Excellent communication skills Commitment to patient-centered, empathetic care

Conduct virtual consultations, cognitive assessments, and diagnostic evaluations. Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) across multiple states. Develop individualized, evidence-based care plans. Oversee the prescription of medications and interpretation of diagnostic tests. Collaborate with behavioral health clinicians, care coordinators, and other interdisciplinary team members. Participate in case conferences and team meetings. Stay current with emerging therapies for dementia. Support caregiver engagement and education. Document all encounters accurately in the EHR. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Synapticure’s cognitive care protocols. Collaborate with research organizations and industry partners for clinical trials.
