Requirements:
3-5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering. Working knowledge of Arista EOS and associated tools. Basic experience with Cisco networking technologies (IOS/NX-OS). Understanding Layer 2/3 networking, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and network security principles. Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, NetFlow, SNMP). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python scripting). Experience in enterprise-scale network migrations or hardware refresh projects. Certifications such as CCNA, JNCIA, or Arista ACE are advantageous.
Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and execution of global Cisco to Arista hardware migration. Support configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of Arista switches and routers. Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers. Maintain documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures. Provide Tier 1-2 support for network issues during and after migration. Participate in testing and validation of new network designs and hardware. Ensure compliance with security and operational standards.
