Livestock Market Advisor

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or related field preferred. Series 3 Broker License and Series 30 Branch Manager License required (or initiative to earn within 12 months). Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in the livestock industry. Strong background in risk management within the swine sector is REQUIRED. Experience with beef markets or other livestock species is a significant plus. Solid understanding of livestock market fundamentals, including cash and futures markets. Proven ability to translate market data into actionable marketing and hedging strategies. Agricultural background (farming, ranching, or production experience) is required. Must be able to travel regionally as needed and operate a motor vehicle safely. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Conduct breakeven analysis and performance evaluations for livestock operations, focusing on swine and beef. Develop and implement customized risk management strategies for clients. Monitor and manage price risk using technical and fundamental analysis. Deliver market insights and analysis to clients. Build and maintain client profiles in CRM. Travel to meet with clients for on-site consultations and support. Collaborate with colleagues to share insights and strengthen client strategies. Lead or contribute to projects enhancing marketing and risk management capabilities.
