10+ years of experience in software development, cloud engineering, or platform operations. Experience in pre-sales, technical consulting, or client-facing solution architecture roles, ideally within the government sector. Proven ability to design and communicate highly available, scalable, and compliant software architectures (APIs, load balancers, messaging systems, UIs, and databases). Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, or TypeScript. Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into plain English. Hands-on experience with agile methodologies, TDD, CI/CD, and modern DevSecOps practices. Demonstrated ability to work across engineering and growth functions, bridging business outcomes and technical depth. Experience with AI/ML applications or developing internal tools that leverage AI to accelerate delivery (preferred). Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and leading cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) (preferred). Understanding of DoD Impact Levels (IL2–IL7) and security frameworks such as NIST and RMF (preferred). Experience working with federal government clients (DoD, Civilian, or Intelligence) (preferred). Strong record of contributing to technical capture strategies, white papers, RFIs, and RFPs (preferred). Background in platform, data, or application modernization efforts within the DoD or enterprise-scale systems (preferred). Ability to zoom in and build solutions hands-on, but also zoom out to architect and articulate the big picture (preferred). Deeply technical background combined with a passion for writing, teaching, and continuous learning (preferred). Proven ability to lead and collaborate across multiple disciplines and organizational boundaries (preferred). Track record of successful captures driven by technical storytelling and practitioner credibility (preferred).
