Senior Data Scientist

Master’s Degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline. Fluency with R, git, and cloud infrastructure (AWS and Docker). Published an R package or software before and are familiar with virtual environments. Experience manipulating large data sets and developing and deploying models onto production infrastructure. Sufficiently knowledgeable about healthcare delivery, payment, data, and terminologies. Excellent problem-solving and team collaboration skills. Flexible thinking to find practical solutions. Software engineering background will be a plus.

Work with Product, Clinical, and Engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Develop, test, productionalize, and maintain data science products with software engineering best practices. Articulate and deconstruct complex projects into workable solutions. Practice good judgment and solicit information to make good and timely design decisions. Respond to user questions and support users in the best uses of data science products. Solicit user feedback and propose opportunities for product innovation. Stay abreast of research and conduct literature and empirical research to propose appropriate solutions. Contribute to technical blogs.
