Senior Test Tooling Engineer

Proven track record as a Senior Release Engineer, QA Lead, or similar role with end-to-end ownership of release processes. Deep expertise with GitHub Actions and modern CI/CD practices. Strong Python skills for building automation, tooling, and infrastructure. Hands-on experience operating PostgreSQL in production environments. Experience with TimescaleDB (Nice to Have) Basic knowledge of Kubernetes (Nice to Have)

Own and evolve CI/CD infrastructure across TimescaleDB, Toolkit, Data Tiering, and Tiger Lake using GitHub Actions. Take full ownership of the release process with a focus on automation and making releases a no-op. Drive the packaging process. Extend and maintain testing infrastructure for TimescaleDB performance and compatibility against Cloud environments. Design and implement stress testing infrastructure from the ground up. Execute stress tests, analyze results, and own signals, feeding regression insights back to engineering teams. Take ownership of the benchmarking framework and elevate its sophistication and reliability.
