Senior Test Tooling Engineer

Proven track record as a Senior Release Engineer, QA Lead, or similar role with end-to-end ownership of release processes. Deep expertise with GitHub Actions and modern CI/CD practices. Strong Python skills for building automation, tooling, and infrastructure. Hands-on experience operating PostgreSQL in production environments.

Own and evolve CI/CD infrastructure across TimescaleDB, Toolkit, Data Tiering, and Tiger Lake using GitHub Actions. Take full ownership of the release process, focusing on automation to make releases a no-op. Drive the packaging process. Extend and maintain testing infrastructure for TimescaleDB performance and compatibility validation. Design and implement stress testing infrastructure from the ground up. Execute stress tests, analyze results, and feed regression insights back to engineering teams. Take ownership of the benchmarking framework and enhance its sophistication and reliability.
