Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, Mobile

5+ years of experience building and shipping production mobile apps for iOS and/or Android Proficiency in at least one mobile development stack: Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, or React Native Experience building backend services and APIs, and integrating mobile apps Strong understanding of mobile security practices Experience with low-level protocols such as Bluetooth or NFC Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices for mobile apps Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with customers Based in the US and willing to engage directly with state government partners

Design, build, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android Ensure mobile apps meet government requirements for security, privacy, accessibility, and reliability Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and services Translate customer and policy requirements into mobile-first product designs Work closely with UX designers to deliver intuitive user experiences Partner with customer delivery leads to ensure successful deployments Contribute to standards adoption by aligning mobile implementations with digital identity protocols Provide technical guidance to public sector partners on mobile app deployment, security, and operations
