Native Malay speaker C1+ level English 1-3 years of experience with subtitling, translation, dubbing translation/dubbing script creation, quality control, or another integral part of the localization process Expert knowledge of Malay lingo, slang, cultural references, and sensitivities Organized and structured, but able to quickly adapt to changes Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail Empathetic and proactive team leader Proficient and comfortable with using OOONA for subtitle creation, translation, and QC (Create Pro and Translate Pro) Understands the YouTube and digital media landscape in Malay 3+ years of experience with subtitling, translation, dubbing translation/dubbing script creation or other notable steps of the localization process (An A+ Candidate) Connections to studios, voice actors, dubbing directors, translators, etc in their native language (An A+ Candidate)
