Native Mandarin speaker C1+ level English 1-3 years of experience with subtitling, translation, dubbing translation/dubbing script creation, quality control, or another integral part of the localization process Expert knowledge of lingo, slang, cultural references, and sensitivities that are relevant to your language Organized and structured, but able to quickly adapt to changes in project schedule and priorities Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail An empathetic and proactive team leader Proficient and comfortable with using OOONA for subtitle creation, translation, and QC, specifically with tools Create Pro and Translate Pro (A+ Candidate) Understands the YouTube and digital media landscape in your native language including top content creators, trends, slang, and more (A+ Candidate) Has 3+ years of experience with subtitling, translation, dubbing translation/dubbing script creation or other notable steps of the localization process (A+ Candidate) Has connections to studios, voice actors, dubbing directors, translators, etc in their native language that allow the opportunity to expand the CG network (A+ Candidate)

Create subtitles in Mandarin (Traditional), ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and compliance with language rules. Receive feedback from Language Coordinator and effectively implement feedback into revised subtitles. Meet tight deadlines while subtitling multiple projects and respond to Language Coordinators’ QC feedback within 24 hours of receipt. Assist in creating localized metadata for regional audiences where necessary. Maintain clear and timely communication directly with your Language Coordinator, studio partners, and CG Leadership.
