Freelance Subtitler – Marathi

Native Marathi speaker C1+ level English 1-3 years of experience with subtitling, translation, dubbing translation/dubbing script creation, quality control, or other integral part of the localization process Expert knowledge of Marathi lingo, slang, cultural references, and sensitivities Organized and structured, but able to quickly adapt to changes Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail Empathetic and proactive team leader

Create subtitles in Marathi, ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and compliance with language rules. Implement feedback from Language Coordinator into revised subtitles. Meet tight deadlines for subtitling projects. Respond to QC feedback within 24 hours. Assist in creating localized metadata for regional audiences. Maintain clear and timely communication with Language Coordinator, studio partners, and CG Leadership. Build familiarity with the Beast brand.
