Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance and software testing.
  • Strong knowledge of QA concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with SDLC and agile development methodologies.
  • Experience in writing and executing test cases and test plans.
  • Proficiency in defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to understand project requirements and define test strategies.
  • Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and/or backend applications.
  • Perform manual testing to identify functional and non-functional issues, ensuring the software meets business and technical requirements.
  • Document and report bugs, issues, and defects clearly and concisely using bug-tracking tools such as JIRA or similar.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains unaffected by new code changes.
  • Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve defects, verify fixes, and improve overall software quality.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to provide QA input and updates.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain and enhance the QA process and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our products and user experience to provide valuable insights during the development lifecycle.
