Requirements:
  • 10 Experience in project management with IT product-related deliverables collaborating with development and/or data teams
  • Experience managing large, diverse projects and parallel workstreams with external clients
  • Experience leading and coaching team members
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent proactivity and self-starter skills are required
  • Proficiency in conveying complex ideas and technical information in a clear and concise manner
  • Capacity to adapt to changing project requirements and environments
  • Experience with tools such as Jira/Confluence is a must
  • Proven experience in Agile methodologies (e.g.: Scrum, Kanban, or other) are required.
  • Knowledge of Waterfall methodologies.
  • PMP certification is desired
  • Experience leading GenAI, ML or Data Engineering projects desired
  • Understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and/or data platforms like Snowflake or Databricks desired
Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing the successful execution and delivery of project objectives across the Client engagement.
  • Developing required project plans including detailed timelines, resource allocations, milestones, forecasts, and status reports.
  • Interpreting guidelines from Client and internal stakeholders and make decisions in nonstandard situations.
  • Managing and communicating risks, decisions, assumptions, issues and dependencies
  • Managing the communications and expectations of both clients and internal stakeholders and keep them up to date with frequent status update reports and hold them accountable for the due dates
  • Proactively solving problems and initiating necessary collaboration (anticipate, identify and actively resolve issues).
  • Overseeing the overall quality of project delivery, ongoing performance and ensuring client satisfaction is fully met.
  • Proactively assisting with meeting coordination and facilitation for cross-functional teams as required for each project.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices to enhance project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborating, leading and coaching other project managers.
  • Acting as a Product Owner to gather and refine high-level client requirements and translate them into actionable, detailed User Stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to build and maintain a prioritized product backlog that aligns with client goals and technical feasibility.
  • Participating in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and product roadmap discussions with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensuring user stories are development-ready and support the successful and timely execution of deliverables.
