Tertiary qualification in Geology or Earth Science. Broad understanding of the composition, structure, and geophysical attributes of Australia or Canada. Extensive experience (>20 years) in mineral resource evaluation in open pit and underground mining. Extensive knowledge of copper and gold deposit types, preferably including ferrous, phosphate, and critical metal/mineral deposits in Australia, Canada, or LatAm. Understanding of geometallurgy and mineral resource estimation. Detailed knowledge/interest in machine learning and data sciences as applied to mining. Proficiency in mineral source modelling software platforms and data analysis tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Familiarity with mining regulations and reporting standards (JORC, NI43-101). Leadership qualities. An open motor vehicle driving license. Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
