Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Extensive network architecture experience in enterprise environments (e.g., 300+ sites / 85k end users)
- Strong understanding of enterprise-grade LAN, WAN, VPN, security, wireless, and load balancing technologies
- Proven experience with team leadership and stakeholder management
- Experience working in hybrid or fully remote environments
- Cisco switching, routing, and wireless (Catalyst, Nexus, StackWise, FlexStack, VSS)
- Network security (Cisco ASA, Checkpoint firewalls, TACACS)
- Load balancing (F5)
- Monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Infoblox, packet sniffing tools)
- Remote/cloud services (AWS, Azure)
- Routing/switching protocols (BGP, EIGRP, HSRP, VRF)
- Strong experience with network documentation (Visio)
- Project lifecycle management
Responsibilities:
- Design, evaluate, and document complex network solutions
- Act as SME for network architecture across the region
- Lead network-related projects
- Ensure network infrastructure is resilient, scalable, and compliant
- Participate in enterprise-wide strategy and design sessions
- Manage and develop a European network team
- Deliver against agreed KPIs within budget and timelines
- Support development of network reference architectures and tools
- Provide leadership in day-to-day team activities and stakeholder management
- Oversee operational elements including network security and firewall administration
- Lead the on-call rotation and respond to critical incidents
- Monitor and maintain enterprise infrastructure
- Support and optimize LAN, WAN, wireless, and cloud-integrated services
- Collaborate with external vendors, telecom carriers, and managed services partners
- Provide clear status updates to PMO, internal customers, and senior leadership
