- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, engineering, computer science, or related discipline and 10 years of general IT experience (programming, hardware, software, etc); or 12 years of general IT experience (programming, hardware, software, etc)
- 10+ years in technology consulting, with at least 5+ years leading AWS cloud initiatives
- Proven track record managing large-scale AWS enterprise engagements ($5M+ projects)
- Strong ability to sell and upsell AWS solutions within enterprise accounts
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and traditional waterfall
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Ability to travel 10% of the time
- Lead end-to-end AWS cloud migration, modernization, and optimization projects.
- Define and manage delivery roadmaps, milestones, and success metrics for engagements.
- Proactively mitigate project risks, resolve technical roadblocks, and escalate critical issues.
- Implement cloud-native development methodologies (Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD) to improve delivery speed and to show value often.
- Provide strategic guidance to AWS solution architects, cloud engineers, and DevOps teams.
- Ensure AWS architectures are scalable, secure, cost-effective, and aligned with business goals.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, translating client needs into AWS cloud solutions.
- Stay updated on AWS innovations (e.g., AI/ML, serverless, Kubernetes, security enhancements) to drive cutting-edge solutions.
- Serve as a trusted AWS advisor, guiding clients on migration, hybrid cloud, and cloud-native applications.
- Lead executive briefings and AWS strategy workshops to drive cloud adoption.
- Contribute to thought leadership through AWS whitepapers, blogs, and conference speaking engagements.
- Mentor consultants and technical teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and AWS excellence.
- Manage project budgets, financial forecasting, and cloud cost optimization strategies.
- Optimize AWS team performance through capacity planning, upskilling, and resource allocation.
