Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quality Lead/Manager in data centre migrations or upgrades.
- Strong understanding of data centre architectures, cloud integrations, and infrastructure components.
- Experience with ITIL, ISO 27001, COBIT, and other IT governance frameworks.
- Expertise in QA methodologies, performance testing, and security validation.
- Strong risk management and change management skills.
- Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent.
- Excellent stakeholder management, reporting, and documentation abilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a quality assurance framework for the data centre migration/upgrade.
- Establish and enforce best practices for testing infrastructure, network, and application migration.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, ITIL, and other relevant standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and impact analysis to mitigate potential failures.
- Define KPIs and metrics to measure the success of the migration/upgrade.
- Develop and oversee change control processes to maintain system integrity.
- Lead functional, performance, and failover testing for data centre infrastructure.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proper validation of hardware, network, and software components.
- Conduct pre- and post-migration testing to verify data integrity and system performance.
- Establish a robust disaster recovery (DR) and failover testing process.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Infrastructure Engineers, and Security Teams.
- Provide regular quality reports to senior management and project sponsors.
- Facilitate lessons learned sessions post-migration to improve future initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001).
- Work with auditors to validate compliance and security controls.
- Document all quality procedures, incidents, and resolutions for audit readiness.
