Brewing Process Engineer

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience 10+ years of professional process engineering experience 7+ years of brewing process engineering calculations, brewery capacity, sizing, and throughput calculations Reading & Interpreting Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (PIDs) Developing mass and energy balances Calculating flow conditions

Develop process mechanical deliverables from concept through construction Develop equipment specifications, process and instrumentation drawings (P&IDs), equipment lists, line lists, POC lists, and operation specifications Coordinate with other project disciplines Work with clients, vendors, and suppliers to develop deliverables Estimate process engineering hours and schedule for proposals Oversee and QC engineering work of others Support construction to include onsite and remote Lead checkout/start-up efforts associated with project work Provide technical leadership and manage process mechanical discipline project members Coach and mentor others as required
