Telehealth Medical Practitioner, Tasmania

Medical Degree required. General registration with AHPRA with nil restrictions or conditions (limited or provisional registration not accepted). Full working rights in Australia; sponsorship not available. Experience in the Australian healthcare system is preferred. Authorised Prescriber (AP) for medicinal cannabis is a plus but not mandatory. Availability to work a minimum of 15.2 hours per week. Medical Indemnity Insurance required for telehealth and prescribing. Must be able to obtain a Medicare Provider Number.

As an Alternaleaf prescriber, you will be conducting Telehealth consultations via Amazon Connect. You will prescribe alternative treatment plans to patients for a spectrum of physical and mental conditions. Your role will influence patient outcomes and clinical satisfaction through best-in-class systems, protocols, and ongoing support. You'll help shape the evolving healthcare landscape by developing clinical insights and setting industry benchmarks.
