- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Six years of sales experience in account management, business development, or client relationship experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills to provide resolutions.
- Professionalism and leadership in complex situations.
- Ability to navigate through organizational complexities with multiple stakeholders.
- Discretion and good judgment in customer and team interactions.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including delivering presentations.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated financial acumen or ability to learn it.
- Willingness to obtain and maintain appropriate state insurance license within six months of employment.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Possess a clean DMV record.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies that drive revenue growth and increase client and/or broker base.
- Retain and grow existing client and/or broker base with responsibilities differing for Client Manager and Business Development Manager roles.
- Formulate and implement customized business solutions for customers through strategic consultation.
- Analyze data to identify and secure renewal and/or upsell opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to attain quota, focusing on account retention and long-term viability.
- Educate customers on available products and programs, delivering presentations to groups of 25 or more.
- Identify territory trends, competition, and customer behavior to maximize revenue and growth potential.
- Drive cross collaboration within Vision Care SBU’s and with other lines of business.
