Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in product, product marketing, or a software engineering role at a startup
- Deep understanding of databases, particularly SQL and OLAP, or another relevant technical domain (data analytics, observability)
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices, with experience and/or a deep interest in developing product positioning and messaging
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely
- Analytical mindset with the capacity to leverage data and metrics to measure performance and inform decision-making
- Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Team player who collaborates effectively across functions and levels
- Passion for technology and innovation, with a drive to stay current on industry trends and advancements
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive product marketing strategies and plans to drive awareness, demand, and adoption of ClickHouse
- Craft compelling messaging, positioning, and value propositions that resonate with customers and differentiate ClickHouse in the market
- Create high-impact marketing collateral, including website content, conference materials, presentations, and internal enablement content
- Collaborate with the cross-functional team to gather market insights and understand customer needs
- Lead the launch of new products and features
- Conduct competitive analysis to understand market trends, identify opportunities, and inform product and marketing strategies
- Evaluate and iterate on this strategy with metrics and feedback from stakeholders to track efficacy, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations
