Online Math Tutor (current BookNook Tutors only)

Must be at least 18 years old. Experience teaching or tutoring K-8 students in mathematics. Current or previous teaching license or tutoring experience in math. Classroom and/or online teaching experience preferred. Knowledge of mathematical best practices for student intervention. Access to a computer, webcam, and reliable high-speed internet. Ability to build meaningful connections with students.

Conduct virtual tutoring sessions in Math using the BookNook platform. Lessons include inquiry-based instruction with explicit instruction. Manage student behavior and engagement throughout sessions. Create a safe, respectful learning environment. Maintain positive relationships with students throughout the program. Document observations for each session.
