Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Military experience preferred.
- 5+ years of new business quota achievement within the Federal Government.
- Demonstrated success in selling to the Federal Government, preferably all branches of US Defense.
- Consultative selling and closing skills with experience in complex software sales.
- Ability to build relationships and possess skills for decision making and customer retention.
- Experience in solutions selling and account planning in the Federal Government.
Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Prospect and develop the qualified pipeline necessary to achieve new business sales targets.
- Proactively sell IT products and services to qualified customers.
- Maintain high sales activity including needs assessments, proposal preparation, and negotiations.
- Collaborate with sales operations, engineering, and other teams as needed.
- Manage and respond to proposal requests and other solicitations.
- Identify key decision makers and challenges through a consultative sales approach.
