Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Military experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of new business quota achievement within the Federal Government.
  • Demonstrated success in selling to the Federal Government, preferably all branches of US Defense.
  • Consultative selling and closing skills with experience in complex software sales.
  • Ability to build relationships and possess skills for decision making and customer retention.
  • Experience in solutions selling and account planning in the Federal Government.
Responsibilities:
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Prospect and develop the qualified pipeline necessary to achieve new business sales targets.
  • Proactively sell IT products and services to qualified customers.
  • Maintain high sales activity including needs assessments, proposal preparation, and negotiations.
  • Collaborate with sales operations, engineering, and other teams as needed.
  • Manage and respond to proposal requests and other solicitations.
  • Identify key decision makers and challenges through a consultative sales approach.
