Requirements
- You should have 1+ years (School), 2+ years (SMB), 3+ years (Mid-Market), or 5+ years (Enterprise) of proven sales experience.
- Experience in selling SaaS products or digital education solutions is mandatory.
- Knowledge of MEDDPICC or other sales methodologies is required.
- You must have expertise in lead generation, business development, networking, prospecting, forecasting accuracy, and closing.
Responsibilities
- As a Sales Representative, you will be part of a regional sales team and represent Newsela in the market.
- You will build relationships with key decision makers at the school district level and sell Newsela's suite of products.
- Responsibilities include pipeline management, forecasting, designing lead generation campaigns, and managing sales through the lifecycle.
- You will become knowledgeable about your territory's funding, state initiatives, demographics, and K-12 education landscape.
