Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience leading technical efforts within an Optical Network environment.
- At least eight years of experience in installation, maintenance, and testing of telecommunications equipment.
- At least four years of experience specific to Ciena DWDM optical platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in advanced optical systems, particularly with Ciena platforms.
- Must possess excellent communication and leadership skills and have a minimum SECRET clearance.
Responsibilities
- Lead efforts pertaining to installation, testing, and activation of telecommunication equipment focused on optical hardware.
- Conduct in-depth analysis to design networks supporting classified Defense Networks.
- Develop network architecture, security, reliability, and business continuity plans.
- Supervise teams on complex network architecture and technology development projects.
