Requirements
- 5+yrs of experience in SAP BDOS
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
- Proficient in SQL scripting and database programming (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
- Hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems (SAP ECC, S/4HANA) is preferred.
- Certification in SAP BODS or related SAP technologies is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy SAP BODS jobs for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement data quality and data validation routines within BODS jobs to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
- Optimize and troubleshoot existing BODS jobs to improve performance and reliability.
- Work closely with database administrators and system engineers to ensure efficient data extraction and integration.
- Create and maintain technical documentation related to SAP BODS processes, data mappings, and data lineage.
- Participate in data modeling and database design discussions to support business intelligence and reporting initiatives.
