Engineering at Maxwell

We are building a cutting-edge AI company within mortgage technology. Our document intelligence capabilities are already live in production. We accelerate existing systems and ship the next generation of AI and agentic systems. You will design and deliver production AI systems across various critical functions. This includes document intelligence, workflow automation, and copilots. We focus on architecture decisions for LLM-based systems, including retrieval, tool use, and orchestration. You will own how we measure system performance and catch issues when they arise. We manage cost and latency at production volume. Our engineers partner closely with product teams. We ensure AI features are impactful and align with user needs. You will evaluate vendors and models. This ensures we select the best solutions for performance and cost. Your expertise will shape our technical direction. You will define best practices for AI system development.
