Requirements
- 3 years of experience in Quality Control, Due Diligence, or Secondary Market.
- Strong working knowledge and experience in the LauraMac Due Diligence software system.
- Knowledge of mortgage lending principles, compliance regulations, and documentation.
- Ability to meet production quality and service standards.
- Strong technical aptitude with familiarity in Slack, Zoom, GSuite, and Microsoft Office.
- Analytical ability, good judgment, and detail-oriented approach.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Fraud investigative review experience within banking or lending is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review loan packages, underwriting guidelines, and data files to identify necessary documentation.
- Capture and bookmark required information within loan documentation.
- Audit loans to determine salability or conduct final review for accuracy and completeness.
- Identify, document, and track any discrepancies or missing documentation.
- Enter data and fees from LEs, CDs, and COCs into the system and test for issues.
- Research and respond to rebuttals and findings.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure expectations and timelines are met.
- Run system logic against captured information and manage resulting exceptions.
- Accurately track time spent on reviews.
