PERTS is an applied research center dedicated to improving student motivation and achievement. We partner with schools and organizations to scale impactful educational practices, with a core focus on advancing equity in education. Our primary product is Elevate, a program designed to help educators measure and improve classroom conditions. We leverage a modern tech stack to support our research and programs. Our website utilizes technologies like iPhone compatibility, a content delivery network, and Google Tag Manager. We're passionate about data-driven insights and use R, particularly the tidyverse and ggplot2 frameworks, for data analysis and visualization. Our engineering culture emphasizes a growth mindset and a commitment to clean, modular, and efficient code. Our team operates with a remote-first culture, welcoming talent from across the U.S. We are driven by our core values: creating a more equitable world, fostering a warm and inclusive community, and prioritizing improvement over blame.
