  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including work with franchise clients and in a Controller or client-facing advisory role
  • Strong QuickBooks knowledge (QBO and Desktop); QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a plus
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while being a proactive team player
  • Serve as the primary financial contact and trusted advisor for a portfolio of franchise clients.
  • Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including month-end and year-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Oversee client accounting operations: AP, AR, payroll, budgeting, and forecasting—ensuring alignment with franchise system requirements.
  • Implement and improve internal controls, processes, and reporting systems tailored to each franchise's operational model.
  • Partner with franchisors and franchisees to support strategic decisions with financial data and insight.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and franchise networks to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Stay up to date on GAAP, franchise accounting standards, and accounting technology tools (especially QuickBooks).
