  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Generally, 5-8 years of premium audit experience with a focus on workers’ compensation.
  • 1 to 3 years of leadership experience.
  • Associates in Premium Audit Program (APA) certification preferred.

  • Oversees employees in the functions of Premium Audit.
  • Ensures that calculations for risks are accurate.
  • Leads efforts to validate that the correct classes are being applied in accordance with company procedures.
  • Conducts premium audits and participates in or performs tours of the insured’s premises.
  • Ensures audit results are reviewed with insureds, underwriters, and producers and that discrepancies are resolved.
  • Ensures that employee coding is consistent and accurate.
  • Maintains expert knowledge of rules and regulations applicable to jurisdictions and ensures correct and consistent application.
  • Sets standards for the provision of Customer Service throughout the discovery, updating, and/or correction process.
  • Responsible for performance and coaching of staff, talent selection, development, and performance management.
  • Ensures new members of the team receive proper training.
  • Ensures that the team meets performance targets.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
