Lead the product engineering team responsible for building and running the Mux Video product, delivering all aspects of live and on-demand streaming: ingestion, encoding, storage, CDN delivery, and caching.
Foster a culture of psychological safety, inclusivity, and excellence, ensuring a high-performing and empowered team.
Oversee capacity planning, performance margins, and cost optimization for the services your team owns.
Collaborate closely with engineering leadership peers to support org-wide technical initiatives and evolve our technical strategy.
Represent Mux externally on technical topics relevant to your team, particularly in conversations with strategic partners and vendors.
Hire, retain, and develop top engineering talent, focusing on both technical growth and leadership development.
Drive the execution and accountability of projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Advocate for operational best practices, ensuring availability, reliability, production readiness, and proactive management of technical debt.
Develop the technical and product strategy in collaboration with technical leads and product partners.
