Requirements
- Have owned product content in a SaaS company, such as documentation, onboarding, product education, or enablement.
- Have experience teaching people how a product works.
- Be able to assess what a product change means for customers and internal teams, including what they need to know, do differently, or set up.
- Write clearly and plainly, and explain setups concisely.
- Have built systems with AI, such as a workflow, automation, or documentation pipeline; experience using AI only to draft content is not the focus.
- Know where AI is useful and decide which work should be handled by AI versus personally.
- Use data on what people search for, ask about, and struggle with, and what affects activation.
- Be comfortable with Claude, GitHub, and Markdown, or keen to learn them quickly.
- Nice to have: experience with Mintlify, Appcues, Storylane, or similar tools.
- Nice to have: a background in telephony, contact center, or sales software.
Responsibilities
- Build systems that update product documentation automatically as the product ships.
- Set up a human review process for changes written by people or AI, and feed mistakes back into the rules.
- Run and extend release notes automation.
- Check documentation, tours, and screenshots against the live product and flag outdated content.
- Keep product facts accurate for AI tools that answer customers and internal teams.
- Run end-to-end how-to launches for product changes, including documentation, in-app guidance, and technical how-to content for internal teams.
- Maintain in-app guidance and report on performance against activation and adoption goals.
- Keep interactive demos and how-to content current for prospects and new customers.
- Run internal and external product education sessions and webinars for new releases.
- Use customer searches, questions, and adoption data to identify and improve important content.
