Requirements
- Have 3+ years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, Big 4 Accounting, or Investment Banking.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Bring advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills and aptitude for financial modeling and analysis.
- Have experience at a high-growth tech company.
- Be able to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Be comfortable presenting to senior management.
- Be proactive, highly organized, and able to work independently under tight deadlines with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with headcount and SaaS cost modeling and management is an ideal qualification.
- Proficiency with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Glean, or Cursor; Databricks; and FP&A tools such as Workday Adaptive Planning or similar planning systems and NetSuite is an ideal qualification.
- Prior partnership with software engineering teams is an ideal qualification.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Software and Firmware Engineering leaders to manage headcount, software, and AI vendor spend.
- Analyze financial results and prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting.
- Support financial review meetings with R&D and Finance leadership.
- Partner with Accounting on month-end close activities, cost classification, and reporting requests.
- Collaborate with R&D teams on AOP planning.
- Improve the accuracy and scalability of financial reporting and forecasting models.
- Develop mechanisms, analysis, and KPIs to inspect business performance.
- Use AI tools to streamline financial reporting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis workflows.
