Requirements
- Bring strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Have practical proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Have demonstrated experience using AI-powered productivity tools such as Claude and Microsoft Copilot.
- Understand SaaS business models and go-to-market performance metrics.
- Know the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement and how they interconnect.
- Be able to organize financial information, identify discrepancies, and communicate findings clearly.
- Work effectively with Finance, HR, Legal, Accounting, and IT teams.
- A background in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline is an advantage.
- Experience presenting financial insights to senior stakeholders or executives is a plus.
- Exposure to financial planning systems, budgeting software, or finance technology implementations is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Support HR and Legal teams with financial forecasting, purchase approvals, headcount planning, and data reconciliations.
- Assist departments with forecasting activities and financial reconciliations.
- Contribute to implementing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting systems.
- Gather Finance stakeholder requirements and translate them into system specifications and functional requirements.
- Validate data migrations, mapping processes, and reporting outputs.
- Document existing and future financial processes to support system design and improvement.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual activities and streamline workflows.
- Prepare presentations, financial summaries, and analytical materials for Finance leadership.
- Support ad hoc financial, strategic, and operational projects.
