Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a senior or lead role.
- Demonstrated expertise in revenue reconciliations; media or advertising industry experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with Prophix or other financial planning software is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with NetSuite or another ERP tool.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is an asset.
- CPA, CFA, or MBA is a strong asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including managing complex financial data and providing actionable insights.
- Ability to communicate and present financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Analyze financial performance across departments and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Perform and oversee advertising revenue reconciliations, ensuring accurate reporting and alignment with contractual agreements.
- Prepare and present financial reports covering revenue, expenses, and key performance indicators to senior management.
- Collaborate with department heads and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights.
- Maintain and optimize financial models to improve forecasting accuracy and reporting effectiveness.
- Use Prophix or similar FP&A software for financial consolidation, budgeting, and reporting.
- Lead ad-hoc financial analysis to support projects and senior management decision-making.
- Improve financial reporting and analysis workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy.
