Requirements
- Hold a university degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or finance.
- Have 4 years of relevant experience in Canadian pension plan administration.
- Have experience verifying pension plan calculations or in pension plan implementation.
- Be proficient in pension calculation tools.
- Be proficient in Excel.
- Have fluency in English and French, written and verbal.
- Continuing education in actuarial science is an asset.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps or a similar job management tool is an asset.
- VBA programming skills are an asset.
- Demonstrate organizational skills, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and priority management.
- Be able to work both as part of a team and independently.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with functional leaders and business analysts to clarify testing scope.
- Analyze technical documents to identify required test scenarios.
- Execute and verify calculation results for test scenarios.
- Report anomalies and track their resolution.
- Keep the test suite up to date with new features and changes to existing features.
- Participate in team meetings and calculation review sessions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve problems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of verification processes.
