Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Between 7 and 10 years of relevant professional experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning, or a related discipline.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience using business intelligence (BI) tools and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Knowledge of financial reporting, planning and analysis, financial modeling, and the full accounting cycle.
- Experience managing and analyzing capital expenditures (CAPEX), evaluating investments, and supporting project financial management.
- Experience preparing financial reports and presentations for senior management.
- Advanced English proficiency is required to collaborate with international colleagues and communicate across global teams.
- Spoken French proficiency is considered an asset.
- CPA designation is considered a strong asset.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Analyze variances between actual results, budgets, and forecasts, and recommend corrective actions.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to help stakeholders make informed business decisions.
- Evaluate costs, operational trends, and business performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain financial models, analytical tools, and KPI reports.
- Conduct cross-functional variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare CAPEX analyses and business cases, and assess investment assumptions and scenarios.
- Support project financial analysis and track capital expenditures.
- Contribute to monthly financial close by reviewing results and investigating discrepancies.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and improve reporting and analysis processes.
