Requirements
- Have 4+ years of experience in corporate finance, banking, Big Four accounting, or a related financial analysis or accounting role.
- Demonstrate strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Have advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Have working knowledge of SQL, including querying and analyzing financial data.
- Have experience with financial reporting, accounting, or ERP systems.
- Hold a bachelor's degree or have equivalent career experience.
- Be able to work effectively in a small, fast-paced organization.
- Experience supporting annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and budget-to-actual variance analysis is a plus.
- Familiarity with the fertility or healthcare industries is a plus.
- Prior experience working remotely with distributed teams is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own the annual budgeting process, including budget development and planning.
- Manage quarterly financial forecasts using business performance and updated projections.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly budget-to-actual variance analysis and identify trends, discrepancies, and performance drivers.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Assist with month-end accounting activities, review financial results, and support accurate reporting, including limited journal entry posting.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting efficiency, and the quality of financial insights.
