Requirements
- Have 7+ years in product design and front-end engineering on complex products.
- Move fluidly between design and code, designing and building interfaces and using AI to work between the two.
- Demonstrate strong judgment in layout, typography, interaction, motion, and visual polish.
- Be comfortable writing TypeScript and React, including HTML, CSS, and animation.
- Prototype quickly, moving between Figma and code.
- Have built or extended design systems used by others.
- Use AI design and coding tools in real work.
- Be comfortable with ambiguity and able to set standards others follow.
Responsibilities
- Architect the design system, tokens, and components that AI-generated interfaces use.
- Design prompt libraries, patterns, and agent workflows that turn design intent into production-ready UI.
- Design real interfaces and prototype them in production front-end code.
- Define production-readiness criteria for AI-generated UI.
- Set design-to-code fidelity benchmarks, regression safeguards, and evaluation methods.
- Work with design leadership to maintain, evolve, and roll out AI-native workflows across the design organization.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and design-system contributors, keeping AI-accelerated output visible on shared surfaces such as Figma.
- Prototype and evaluate adaptive, AI-generated interfaces as a product capability.
- Create playbooks, prompt libraries, and enablement so the wider design organization can use the system.
