Have 5+ years of product design experience, including 3+ years in B2B SaaS.
Have hands-on experience building prototypes in a real codebase with Claude Code, Cursor, or a similar tool.
Provide a portfolio that includes interactive or shipped work and shows design reasoning, not only final screens.
Bring front-end literacy in HTML, CSS, React, and Git to direct AI coding tools, read diffs, and assess generated code.
Demonstrate strong qualitative and quantitative research skills and facilitation skills.
Show experience using AI tools or agents in research and checking the results.
Have design systems experience, including design tokens.
Use sound judgment when evaluating AI output and hold AI-assisted work to the same quality standard as other work.
Nice to have: experience in GRC, security, or another regulated domain.
Nice to have: experience designing AI or agent-based experiences.

Lead interviews, usability tests, and analytics reviews to frame problems before solving them.
Use AI agents to synthesize customer interviews, support tickets, product feedback, and usage data, and verify findings against source material.
Build and test working flow prototypes in the live codebase using Claude Code or similar tools.
Make small UI and UX pull requests and review AI-generated changes before engineering review.
Create documented, reusable design system components and tokens in Figma and code.
Design AI experiences with clear provenance, human review, traceable reasoning, and handling for uncertain or incorrect output.
Check accessibility against WCAG 2.1 AA, including contrast, keyboard paths, and screen reader labels.
Create reusable prompts, Claude skills, and agents, and help designers and PMs adopt them.
Define success before launch and use product analytics to measure and report outcomes.
