Requirements
- Have mastery of core applications such as Salesforce, NetSuite, or Billing Platform, with the ability to teach others.
- Demonstrate application development expertise from design and implementation through monitoring.
- Write and defend production-grade application code and configurations.
- Be able to deliver complex technical and business objectives amid ambiguity and uncertainty.
- Bonus: bring solid experience working on a SaaS product.
- Bonus: have deep experience with Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) or UI frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Bonus: have deep experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
- Bonus: have deep experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and SaaS product development.
- Bonus: have working experience with SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
- Bonus: have working experience with SQL.
- Bonus: have working experience with on-call responsibilities for production-grade systems.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Salesforce and other relevant applications, advising leadership, vendors, business partners, and team members.
- Identify, prioritize, and execute high-complexity application development tasks.
- Translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions and simplified solution architectures.
- Develop applications and tools using relevant platforms and languages, including Salesforce, NetSuite, Billing Platform, Apex, JavaScript, SuiteScript, and Python.
- Build regression test automation suites and coach the team on Copado test automation.
- Build AI workflows and agents to deliver business value and improve development and operational workflows.
- Analyze and debug systems and perform validation and verification testing.
- Mentor engineers through peer reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, engineering practices, and pull request approvals.
- Lead initiatives to modernize application architectures, improve integrations, and reduce technical debt.
- Guide vendors on engineering practices and milestone deliverables, and support team delivery as a manager backup when needed.
