Requirements
- Experience operating as a lead pre-sales or solutions consultant on complex, competitive, large enterprise deals, preferably in SaaS, with a track record of winning them.
- Ability to deliver compelling, value-based presentations to business and technical stakeholders.
- Consultative style with storytelling, problem-solving, and active listening skills.
- Hands-on manufacturing operational experience, ideally in food and beverage, including plant operations, FSQA, or continuous improvement.
- Understanding of production, food safety, and supplier quality management workflows.
- Ability to learn new platforms quickly and comfort with integrations, data analysis, and APIs.
- Daily use of AI on core pre-sales work, with repeatable workflows and validation of outputs against source information.
- Experience helping others build effective AI habits.
Responsibilities
- Own the pre-sales consulting process with Account Executives, including discovery, tailored demos, solution scoping, diligence, rollout planning, and business value alignment.
- Maintain and run tailored demos, and build repeatable demo assets and playbooks.
- Support RFPs and technical and security evaluations, and draft complex SOWs.
- Drive deal strategy by mapping stakeholders, surfacing risks, positioning against competitors, and keeping deal status current in the CRM.
- Translate complex requirements into solution narratives focused on outcomes.
- Use Fathom call recordings for discovery, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Articulate platform ROI and business transformation to influence buying decisions.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory considerations.
- Advise food and beverage manufacturers on food safety, quality, production, and supplier management.
