Requirements
- Have a deep understanding of Reddit culture, subreddit rules, and the kinds of ideas communities will reward or remove.
- Have at least 3 years of professional experience working on Reddit.
- Have experience running Reddit Ads for brands or working at Reddit Inc.
- Have run Reddit strategy for brands and be able to show the plan and its results.
- Have managed, trained, or reviewed other people’s work.
- Be willing to do hands-on work, including participating in threads, reviewing drafts, and writing when needed.
- Be comfortable working fully disclosed under real names.
- Preferred: 5+ years in a role directly tied to Reddit.
- Preferred: experience at Reddit Inc., ideally on Karma Lab.
- Preferred: agency experience and data fluency, including explaining program results to clients.
- Preferred: experience running organic Reddit or brand community programs.
- Preferred: knowledge of consumer ecommerce brands, managing freelancers across time zones, or SEO/AEO/GEO.
Responsibilities
- Tailor the Reddit program and playbook to each client and brand.
- Set up brand accounts, participate in high-priority threads, and create brand subreddits.
- Develop creative strategy and ideas for organic or paid work when the playbook does not cover an opportunity.
- Lead Reddit marketers and community managers, review drafts, make decisions on tricky threads, and coach marketers weekly.
- Run monthly client calls covering work completed, results, and next steps.
- Teach client teams how Reddit works and what to expect from it.
- Bring learnings from client accounts back to improve the playbook.
- Ensure posts are disclosed and approved before publication and that teams respond quickly to high-priority threads.
