Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Have at least 5 years of hands-on experience with IBM Maximo configuration and customization.
- Have relevant professional certifications, such as IBM Certified Maximo Application Developer, or equivalent credentials.
- Bring experience with regulatory compliance projects involving enterprise asset management systems.
- Demonstrate expertise in IBM Maximo Application Suite configuration, including business objects, attributes, domains, workflows, escalations, and application configurations.
- Understand business operations and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, compliance, and user experience through process optimization.
- Know Maximo database architecture, relational data models, indexing strategies, and the operational impact of configuration and structural changes.
- Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting system issues and optimizing application and database performance.
- Facilitate collaboration among business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership.
- Have written and verbal communication skills, including experience leading workshops, facilitating requirements-gathering sessions, and explaining technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering through stakeholder interviews, design workshops, discovery sessions, and business process reviews.
- Translate business and operational requirements into BRDs, functional specifications, user stories, workflow diagrams, process maps, and project documentation.
- Coordinate communication between business stakeholders, technical resources, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyze IBM Maximo database structures and assess proposed changes to business objects, tables, indexes, relationships, and configurations.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, system administrators, and integration teams to design, configure, implement, and support Maximo solutions.
- Evaluate business processes and recommend improvements, automation opportunities, and proof-of-concept solutions.
- Lead discussions on system integrations, reporting requirements, data conversion strategies, and data migration planning and execution.
- Develop and maintain configuration documents, SOPs, training materials, and knowledge base articles.
- Identify ways to improve system efficiency, reliability, compliance, and user experience using Maximo capabilities.
- Support system troubleshooting, configuration improvements, and performance optimization.
