Requirements
- Have 3 years of experience as a JVM Backend Developer using Kotlin or Java with Spring Boot.
- Know Kotlin through work or personal projects.
- Have experience with Clean Code, Software Craftsmanship, TDD, DDD, hexagonal architecture, microservices, and event sourcing.
- Use AI agents for coding at work or in personal projects, and know when not to trust them.
- Write tests that provide evidence, including integration tests with a real database.
- Know PostgreSQL and HTTP API design.
- Understand user needs and business context.
- Work independently and effectively with incomplete information.
- Prefer turning repetitive work into a rule, test, or automation rather than doing it manually.
Responsibilities
- Write specifications for AI agents, guide their work, review their output, and take responsibility for changes in production.
- Develop and maintain backend services in Kotlin and Spring Boot.
- Turn recurring errors into linter rules, tests, and automation.
- Create agent instructions and prompts, review practices, and recurring automations for the team.
- Evaluate improvements by looking at rollbacks and deployment time, rather than token usage.
- Share knowledge and good practices for working with AI.
- Occasionally make changes to the internal panel frontend.
