Requirements
- Have taken something from zero to one, such as a company, product line, or side project with paying users.
- Have built and run backend systems in production that other people depend on.
- Be strong in Go or Python and willing to work in both.
- Be solid in data modeling, API design, and handling messy real-world data.
- Be comfortable making progress when problems are ambiguous or half-defined.
- Be willing to take broad ownership beyond a narrowly defined job scope.
- Adapt to changing customer needs and priorities.
- Enjoy direct customer contact, including calls and occasional site visits.
- Write clearly in English.
Responsibilities
- Join customer calls and site visits to understand how customers work and identify their problems.
- Turn customer feedback into problem definitions, scopes, and plans, and challenge requests when they do not address the underlying need.
- Design and build backend services in Go and Python for tender, catalog, and purchase-order data.
- Ship features to customers, observe how they use them, and iterate.
- Investigate and fix production issues affecting customers.
- Use AI in your work and design systems that agents and people can use.
