Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with production ownership of services, pipelines, or SDKs.
- 2+ years of experience shipping LLM-backed features in production environments.
- Data engineering proficiency with SQL and at least one distributed processing framework.
- Fluency with tool calling and agent orchestration (managing stale context, halluncinated arguments, and loop failure modes).
- Strong coding proficiency in Python or TypeScript.
- Experience designing evaluations for non-deterministic systems.
- Working knowledge of multiple agent harnesses.
- Experience diagnosing latency in distributed request paths.
- Ability to work with ambiguity and balance technical perfection with shipping increments.
Responsibilities
- Define product functionality and build measurement frameworks and evaluation systems for non-deterministic behavior.
- Perform continuous evaluation of APIs, SDKs, and data representations from the perspective of end users.
- Build and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, conflation, entity resolution, and quality checks.
- Design feedback loops to improve products and instrument systems for failure reproduction.
- Develop internal tools and harnesses (CLI, MCP) to iterate and share generalizations across teams.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for system availability.
